Our Story

Celebrating its 25th year anniversary, our award-winning team program was designed to give gymnasts a flexible yet competitive experience. We focus on building well rounded, successful gymnasts. Today, Galaxy is a thriving community of members who share the same love of gymnastics as we have for 25 years.

Our Team

We offer a wide range of competitive levels to help our gymnasts achieve their goals no matter their experience. Galaxy is proud member of USAIGC.

Our Coaches

Our highly trained and skilled coaches work with gymnasts to develop strength, flexibility, and coordination, as well as to improve overall performance and technique. Team coaches play a vital role in the development and success team, as they are responsible for guiding them through the various stages of their athletic careers.

TEAM TRYOUTS

BE ON THE TEAM!

Tryouts for 2025-2026 Galaxy Competitive Team are being held May 3rd (12pm-1pm) and May 14th (7pm-8pm). Tryouts are open to all current and non-members.

Gymnasts will participate and a guided stretch followed by a complete all-around circuit demonstrating their skills and strength on each event including Bars, Vault, Beam, and Floor.

Coaches and Staff will be available to provide info and answer any questions at the completion of the event.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete liability and registration paperwork. Gymnasts should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing (leotard preferred) Hair should be bulled up or back.

WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT?

Minimum age of 4 years old

WHAT ARE THE TRAINING HOURS?

Depending on the level, training hours vary.

Gems (Introductory Level): 2-3 Hours Weekly.
Copper 1 (Beginner Level): 4 Hours Weekly
Copper 2 (Intermediate Level): 6 Hours Weekly
Diamond and Up (Advanced Level): 9 Hours Weekly

HOW OFTEN DOES TEAM COMPLETE?

Competition season generally runs December to June. Our relaxed competition format aims to schedule one competition a month. Gymnasts are expected to complete in all scheduled competitions through the season.

WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?

No obligation summer training is available to all invited gymnasts. We require contract signatures by the start of the pre-season on September 1st. We expect gymnasts to fulfill the season contract. This allows the gym to pre-schedule meets, order uniforms, and reduce costs for everyone in the program.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Galaxy Gymnastics prides itself on competitive market research and pricing allowing us to provide the lowest tuition in the Tri-State area. Team is responsible for monthly tuition, uniforms, and meet fees through the year. We hold a number of fundraising events that can help alleviate some costs.
