About the CIT and youth Mentorship Program
Galaxy Gymnastics’ Coaches In Training (CIT) Program applications are now open! Everyone aged 14+ is welcome to apply for the Coaching In Training or (aged 13+) Youth Mentorship Program.
Galaxy Gymnastics is proud to have established this program for those wishing to learn how to coach gymnastics. This program is offered to those interested in becoming a coach who are 14 years old as of December 31 of the current year.
- 3 Hour (Saturday) introduction, spotting and safety training (unpaid)
- Minimum 30 hour shadow / training with Galaxy staff (CIT program)
- Minimum 100 hour shadow / training with Galaxy Staff (Youth Mentorship Program)
- Final 3 hour (Saturday) advanced spotting and safety review
Applications are now being accepted and will need to include: a resume and a cover letter outlining why you want to be a coach. Please send all applications below, We will be contacting applicants in the following days after review with their application results. (Youth applicants without a previous work resume may substitute with previous training, volunteering, and school activities.)
Directors Note: All Youth Mentorship Program applicants must provide most recent report card with application. Students and gymnasts must be in good standing with school to participate in the program.
